People who should make a book: Wayne Pate

We have three of his silkscreen prints in our apartment. I love each of them and Sammy Seagull (the bird with the striped jumper, beanie and pipe) is my all time favorite.

What can I say about illustrator Wayne Pate? While browsing his blog I'm sure, his work is influenced by Picasso, Matisse, Miró. He likes striped jumpers, canvas shoes and tote bags with prints. He lives in a stylish Brownstone in Brooklyn, NY with his wife fashion designer Rebecca Taylor and their three children. He seems to be an unofficial PR rep for the Japanese label 45rpm. And of course he should make a book! If I had one wish, this would be the cover ...
