"Kasmirs Weltreise" won the "Deutscher Jugendliteraturpreis" in 1958 and was chosen by the New York Times among the 10 Best Books in 1960. As I had to realize, with red Indians and yellow Chinese it is not at all politically correct ... however the story about a little boy traveling on the moon halfway around the world and the linocut pictures are still very charming.
